Acidhead

Acidhead is a project designed by Luca Sammartin in the winter of 2003/2004, after the experience with the KudaRealPhix, trip-hop group with Luca Bicego Gessica sounds and the voice (won the Diesel-U-Music 2003 for the electronic section) and other smaller projects, especially small-scale production.
After these experiences, as Acidhead composed the first work ever published called Please Do It Again, and then traces that remain in the drawer.
Throughout the period after Luke is dedicated to the search for style and sound, to achieve something special and precise, as well as create small projects with other artists following different genres and styles.
In January 2006 some of the tracks composed earlier are included in an EP called Time Is Gone, along with two new productions, and High Pass By, sung by Gessica. The EP released by the netlabel dharmasound, receiving acclaim from the beginning, and Acidhead are commissioned remixes by some indie artists of the Italian (Port-Royal, Fabryka, Blume, Too-tiki ..).

During the early summer of 2006, seven new products are instrumental pieces that will be played live during some dates in August, with Andrea Bevilacqua on bass and Alex Riddled video. In the following months will be produced other tracks ( Ice Crusher, Wash Up, Rain Made Of ...) that will be played during numerous live performances in December and January 2007, live training will join Alex Foley on guitar, and Gessica Bicego the voice and the chorus. These new songs will be part of the first job of Acidhead.

The Reverse Engineering Reverse Engineering, electronic duo of Rome, are Elisa Giacomini (vocals, piano, programming) and Ariel Lerner (guitars, synthesizers, programming and production). Their music draws inspiration from many different styles, starting with the trip-hop and passing through the dub, alternative rock and jazz. The music is always presented with the formula song and the lyrics are strictly in English. The arrangements are a mix of electronics (synths, beats and grooves), plans and vintage guitars, along with other acoustic instruments (soprano sax, clarinet). The atmosphere is sometimes suspended, floating, sometimes rough and dirty.
The project started life in 2002 as a duo. In May 2003 the first demo (with the name Liz ) won the award for best self in the British magazine Sound on sound. From 2003 to 2005 the number of staff extends to other musicians and the initial project became a real band of 5 Elements (Orangecut) with which the pieces are starting to be played live on various stages of Rome (including that of the Circle of artists to support the English duo of Laika).

At the moment the situation is back to the original duo, with the name Reverse Engineering, and had his first release in the compilation I-ndipendente (Edel) on iTunes Italy. In November 2006 they performed at MEI KING Faenza getting the prize of "Demoawards" (internal contest to show "Demo" of Rai Radio 1) as runners.
Elise and Ariel are both running through the entire creative process, but the songs often have external elements, such as ethnic or jazz musicians and DJs. The artists of reference are, among others, Portishead, Lamb, Massive Attack, Brian Eno, Radiohead and Sonic Youth.
